Amstelveen geboren - tot 5 gewoond. In Dieren van 5 to 11 gewoond, ging Ik naar de laagere school in Arnhem. Toen in Auckland New Zealand tot 16, en terug naar Leeuwarden waar Ik twee jaar ben geweest. Ik was 18 toen ik terug naar NZ ging. Ben nu 73 en kan nog een beetje Nederlands. Genoeg om de videos te verstaan

Ik begon nederlands te leren 8 jaren geleden maar leer het nog steeds dus man moet altijd leren leren tot je taal die je leert zo te zeggen een sleutel tot andere werelden wordt. Plus nederlands is echt maakkelijk te leren als je al kunt engels spreken is dat dan MEGA BONUS en duidelijk ermee kunt je ook wel sommige andere germaanse talen wel begrijpen hoewel niet alle.

I studied in Enschede for a year, not a big city (by my standard) but I love it! It’s calm, not so crowded, friendly people, perfect for study. And since it’s close to the border, I can travel to Germany anytime I want. Not a big fan of Amsterdam and Rotterdam hahaha, but I like Den Haag. Beautiful city with lots of history. I also like Utrecht, Leiden, and Delft. Hoorn is nice too.

Ik was recentelijk in Amsterdam en Rotterdam. Het was een geweldige ervaring. Maar op de een of andere manier trok Rotterdam me meer aan. Ik vind de stad en de mensen geweldig (natuurlijk zijn er overal uitzonderingen haha). Ik denk er echt over om een nieuw leven te beginnen in Rotterdam. Misschien ben ik aangetrokken door de stad of misschien ben ik aangetrokken door de liefde ;) Bedankt voor de prachtige video, ik begrijp steeds meer.

Ik ken Nederland niet zo goed maar genoeg om een eenduidelijken indruk te hebben. Ik vind de kleinstadstructuren leuk: vele vriendelijke staden met een goede levenskwaliteit, vooral voor fietsers.

My favorite city is Nijmegen. I grew up in a little village in Brabant called Sint-Oedenrode but that was never the right place for me to be. 13 years ago I moved to Nijmegen where I still live. And I still love the city.

Nice episode, as always! 🙂 Plenty of interesting places in the Netherlands, but I would say Utrecht has a very special place in my heart. I studied there and greatly enjoyed it. Such a lovely city!

American but Born in Amsterdam, partially grew up there. Favorite Dutch city is difficult - Love ❤Amsterdam, ❤ Maastricht, ❤Den Haag, ❤ Rotterdam - all Dutch cities have something to offer.
