I knew Queen Regine was going to slay Kahit Na (a Zsa Zsa Padilla classic) because she sang this once during her Ang Ating Musika concert in 2007. Ang ganda nun, but this one was 1000x more brilliant!!!

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez ladies and gentlemen. Another Reginified version of a Zsa Zsa Padilla classic although I think she already sang it before. Her whispery words are so eargasmic. And I love listening to her singing OPM songs, especially with Filipino lyrics. She enunciate every word so clearly as if she’s speaking to you, telling a story. And her phrasing! Gosh! Young singers today are trying her way of phrasing but I think it’s Regine’s gift, she does it so excellently, every time, all the time.

This is such a treat. Regine Velasquez is one of the many reasons why other countries see Philippines as the land of great singers.
