I am watching it on samsung 16 it is not bad phone i use it for gaming and social media it does all things good and the battery life is also good decent camera decent charging speed and good gaming performance

You should've driven the point home by doing in-depth comparison to Galaxy M35.
Same company, similar 4+1 Year updates, and Exynos 1380 is not only 50% faster, but supports 1080p60, and 4k30 recording!

Companies can provide 5-7 Years of updates on Galaxy S24, Pixel 8, etc., because such phones can actually last that long. People are still using Galaxy S8 from 2017 even now in 2024!

But Samsung (and other companies) should stick to 4-5 Year OS/Security updates for mid-range phones like Galaxy M35, F55, A55, M55, etc. Maybe even lesser on low-end devices like Galaxy A05, M05, F14, etc., because such phones will lag after 2-3 Years anyway!

The people who buy this kind of phone don't care about the processor, camera, or anything else. They just want a phone from a well-known company that works. That's why this phone will become Samsung's most-selling phone worldwide. So keeping it up to date for 6 years is a huge thing for Samsung.

I consider Android version update as must have feature.. Because already phones doesn't launch on latest version and slowly apps stops supporting old software version. For example SBI yono, Microsoft Teams app stopped supporting less than android 12

1. Good Processor
2. Long lasting battery
3. Decent Camera
4. Compact design
5. 1080p Display
6. Dual Stereo speaker
7. Minimum 6GB RAM

Doesn't need to include
1. Oled Display
2. Shitty Notch
3. So called 6 years update
4. Glass back
5. Useless extra 2-5mp camera sensors

I am watching this from A16 and this is my 3rd samsung smart phone and previous are expensive ones. I am using it from last 5 days and i can say its best phone.

Samsung should really consider downgrading the updates to just 5 Years to keep prices sensible.
This is a budget phone, and the processor is too slow even today, so coming close to S24 with 6 Years is just senseless money waste. 5 Years is still more than enough for such a phone.
