STP has always used such deceptively complex chord progressions in their music, hauntingly beautiful. RIP Scott, you are missed.

Robert from STP is grossly…. Disgustingly underrated as a musician man.. what an amazing artist ❤

Rob Deleo wrote some sick, melodic bass lines. He was the secret weapon of that band. Kretz never rushed tempo. Quite the contrary. What a pocket he laid!! Some of Dean's solos were otherworldly with crazy bending and he never played just run of the mill licks. He got more and more tasteful with each record. Their music grew and changed so much from album to album. True artists. Can only imagine how fulfilling it must have felt with the vocal melody and lyric on top. What a band!!!

To this date Stone Temple is on the top 10 of my fav bands. Old their songs aged so well, lyrics and instrumental composition still fresh and delightful.

Nice to see the love for STP. I always appreciated that band. RIP Scott Weiland.

STP was truly one of the greatest bands to emerge in the 90s. There's a reason we're still listening, enjoying and analyzing their music today in 2024.

The Robert DeLeo interview is awesome. Such a brilliant yet humble musician. His personality alone makes me like STP even more.

I started listening to STP again after the Robert DeLeo interview. He was so chill. Love them.

STP got lumped in with the alt/rock of the day but in looking back now they really stand out to me. The songs are just so unique.

The Robert DeLeo interview is one of my favorite interviews ever. I've always appreciated STP, but that interview shed so much light on what a great person Robert is. So incredibly talented. The music they wrote stands the test of time. It still gives me goosebumps all these years later. Can't say it enough how important your interviews are.

Love old STP. Trippin on a hole in a paper heart is probably my favorite song by them.

I love that Rick helps legitimize STP. They were oddly discarded, at least critically, for a period of time. But for even the less discerning listener, their music is excellent and holds up. Loved the RDL interview and excited for the BOB interview!

Eternally one of my favourite bands. These four men truly captured lightning in a bottle.
And Weiland? His ability to sing just about anything completely blew my mind as a teenager.
I was 12 when Core came out, I turned 44 last weekend.. It’s still an album I frequently play all the way through without skipping a single note

This song as well as ADHESIVE, make me feel the exact same feelings and sensation, each time i listen to them, as they did 30 years ago. Absolutely love STP.

I was 23 in 1996 and I loved my Dad more than anyone, but when he died suddenly of an embolism, I went to the Stone Temple Pilots concert at Nassau Coleseum the night of the funeral. I had missed 3 Nirvana shows and didn't think Scott was gonna make it out of the 90's. Glad he did, RIP.
