This was good information. I'm using the Bully vanes and for TAC they flew very well. And the Bully vanes are slightly smaller, like .53 vs .58 of the blazer, which can only help for those longer distances. They are also only 6.5 grains per vane, which is lighter than many other vanes on the market, and only 0.5 grains more than a Blazer even though it's a stiffer material. For whatever reason, it's really hard to find many reviews and information on the Bully vanes, so I'm glad you covered them.

Haha I been watching your videos for a bit now. Every time I’m like, “why does this shop look so familiar?” I
I Just couldn’t place it. Haha it’s the bow rack and I live in Springfield. What a small world. I’m an absolute beginner and I’ll be buying a full setup next month. Maybe we could make a video of it. From a beginners perspective. I love your content. Keep it up dude.

Man it’s like you put the perfect vids up for when I start to alter my gear…
The TAC Drivers will go beautifully on my VAPs.
Thanks man, great info as always. Good luck in the bush 🤙

I've gone "all in" with the TAC Driver 2.75" for broadheads and 3D. One of my shooting buds literally folded a vane over on a target, I put it away in the case for a couple days and it restored itself perfectly (except for the black carbon streak!) At our range, the TAC is quickly becoming the primary vane for anyone going beond stock Bohning Blazers.

I've been using max hunter vanes and I've never used the primer pen and never had a problem with them not sticking, most of the time I'll clean the mold release agent off with alcohol but the last arrows i did i just used hot water and a paper towel and they still stuck but I use a different glue, it's for gluing rc rubber tiers to wheels and it works amazing.

Maybe in the future you can do videos on different fletching types like feathers and mylar vanes as well. Especially the latter, it will be good to give thoughts whether mylar vanes is good for hunting as much as it is for competition.

I shoot the tac drivers 2.75 as well and I absolutely love them! I did get into a soft target and crinkled the vanes, so I set it in the back of my quicker and in a few hours it reset itself back to true. Also there customer support is amazing! I had some issues when I first got them with sticking. But after a few emails and a new jig later I had zero issues with them. Also they where nice enough to send me some more vanes to help me out!

I just fletched up a set and they were incredibly easy to fletch. I did use the primer pen and their glue with my Vane Master Pro. Looking forward to shooting them against my Max Hunters to see the difference.

The TAC vane maybe the stiffest…but is by far the hardest to fletch. With all the arrows I fletch, I do not get anyone requesting them.

I'm going to try the tac driver van. You always give honest straight forward information on all subjects which equates to trust! I really appreciate what you are doing. I do want to come over and meet you and see the shop? Since I live in Salem I don't think it's a problem since I drive to Bowtech! Thanks for your professionalism!!!! Mike

Both Randys at TAC recommended matrix 2.25 for a 3 fletch using ironwill outfitters broadheads…

I had a tuning problem with 150gr fixed blades with small blazers. 3 inches right no matter what. I didn’t realize it until I tried 100 grain fixed blade and then they flew flawlessly. Moral of the story if ur broadheads isn’t flying straight no matter what it could be ur fletching.

AAE stealth max for me.
Perfect for 3D
Perfect for my single bevel iron will BH.

I certainly would discuss Flex-fletch due to their proprietary polymer science which allows them to "bounce" back once deformed. IMO - they offer the best vane in the business and have for several decades.

I bought some TAC driver vanes two months ago. Red and white. The base of all this pack of the red ones was messed up in that it wasn’t molded right. Like literally 1/16” wide compared to the pack of white which had normal base width. Can’t believe quality control let these out the door. I won’t be wasting money on anymore of these.

Do a speed test video I fletched some aae hybrids the big ones 26 I think not important I did a 4 fletch left helical and offset they had a hell of a twist on them stabilized well but hurt speed a lot people talk about drag but I haven’t seen a good video on the speed difference between all the vanes 3 fletch vs 4 fletch also. Something like that would make an awesome video I was like 271 with my LH helical and 283 with a slight right hand helical but my test wasn’t scientific at all

So I replaced the 2" Blazers on my Victory V force 400 arrows with 4" wraps and 2.75 Tac drivers. I used my Bitzenburger RH helical clamp and successfully fletched 10 arrows no adhesion issues and they look great. I shot them today and was right on (x ring) at 20 but at 50 they are hitting about 8 " low!
I added less than 10gr to these arrows and with the claims of increased down range speed I expected to hit higher and have to tighten up my pins but just the opposite happened. I had paper tuned with the Blazers and had my bow shooting very well out to 70 meters. I shoot every day and the only change was the wraps and Tac Drivers.?
