It never fails. Even in the greatest relationships, trouble finds paradise. This is the phase we reach in “Lack of Communication,” the third track in The Evil Genius’ love suite. One of the first tracks recorded for the album, it was made in Ghana amidst real-life growing pains in Mr Eazi’s own relationship, but preserves a feelgood vibe regardless. True to its country of origin, “Lack of Communication” visits Ghana’s rich highlife sound, with some soulful instrumentation led by guitarist and frequent Mr Eazi collaborator, Joshua Nkansah.
