I like that the 250 is simpler AND uses regular gas. I would want the ventilated seats, though. Prices of used cars are still way too high, so this makes new very attractive.

Lexus Nx 250 awd owner here. This is my first luxury car . My opinion is that if your looking for true performace go for other brands . Materials are much better than the rav 4 . I was cross shopping the bmw x3 with this but the lexus won me over . Because ive always wanted one plus reliability is a big factor to me and comfort so i went with the 250. Do i regret getting the 250 no but if your wanting anything other than adequate performance go for the turbo or hybrid .

Remember the NX250 has a spare tire versus the nx350...which is important since I am not sold on run flat tires

I’m considering this instead of the 350h. The price difference doesn’t compensate for the better mpg on the 350h.

If the 11th digit of your VIN is a C, it was built on the exact same assembly line as the RAV4, in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

It's not a fancy RAV 4.

I have never seen a North American (or any English-speaking) reviewer do this. I watched several Taiwan-based videos on this topic and they completely disassembled the two cars down to the frame and showed that Lexus uses more insulation and higher quality materials in multiple areas, leading to an overall more refined ride. They've also done blinded tests where people were asked to guess whether it was a RAV4 or a NX250 based on the engine sound, door sound, ride quality, leather feel etc. and it was easy to tell the difference.

I've had the 2022 NX 250 AWD for a year now and totally love it. The only things I wish I had were heated steering wheel, power lift gate button on the rear hatch and wireless charging pad. At that time you couldn't find these cars anywhere so I had to take what I could get.

You don't want a Turbo. They force more air into the motor, which in turn is harder on the motor and shorting it's longevity.

The NX 250 awd is so similar in engine size, engine power, acceleration, and dimensions to the new CX-5. About $10, 000 more though.
