Jansen Barbieri Karn live @ Abstract Day (1997) - corrected sync

Jansen Barbieri Karn (with Steven Wilson and Theo Travis) from the Abstract Day set. There's a bunch of copies of this on youtube, but tend to be bad quality and/or with sound hopelessly out of sync. Fixed the sound as much as possible and jacked the upscaling so the bitrate would be decent.

0:00 - Sleeper Awake
07:58 - Plaster The Magic Tongue
13:33 - Long Tales Tall Shadows
18:30 - Beginning to Melt

Mick Karn was not from this Earth. I remain always breathless at seeing his bass playing touch. Eternal respect.

Jansen's always been one of my favourite drummers. Hugely under-appreciated, IMO.

What a band of superlative musicians! And impressive to see a baby Steven Wilson and of course, R.I.P., Mick Karn, one of the very best. Thanks for sharing!

Really appreciate you doing this, I was the backline tech on this gig and the radio session they did, I've never seen this as I was sat just off stage left focused on Steve Jansen.

Japan's members except David Sylvian and always their caracteristic sound with the Porcupinetree's leader.

Brilliant. They are almost drifting in to the arena of prog rock (except so much better). Mick looks so different with eyebrows. God speed, Mick.

These guys make it look effortless-- even Steve Jansen as he pounds the drum heads-- and that's one of the aspects of this band that is so very cool. The music is superb.
