Heck yes! That really shows that he is insanely strong and explains why he was a little gruff/stressed at first, instead of him just walking into the store covered in snow.

They most likely removed it to keep him a mystery and "threat" upon introduction.
Suddenly opening the door, covered in snow, just walking in silently and going up to Anna by the desk.
If we saw him actively struggling with the mountain only to also reveal Sven, *then* have him walk in, we'd already be fully familiar with him in a way that makes him feel safe.

He already seemed like the type of guy to do all those things without even showing it. He grew up yanking giant ice cubes, it makes sense that they softened his image since it’s a romcom.

I would have liked them only to have Sven 'talk' in close shot, especially when he 'reasons' with Kristoff to help Anna. Then near the end of act 2, that's when we pan out during the conversation to see that Kristoff is, and always has been, talking for Sven.

It wouldn’t have changed much, but writing Elsa out of her misunderstood villain role really hurt the story and made Hans into a last second antagonist, played off as a “twist villain” to compensate.

In my opinion, having an opening like that would indicate to us that he is a main protagonist and would bring a lot of attention to his character, making us second guess on what’s Hans true intentions are.
