Stoked to bring you the first of a couple “how to” videos. I try my best to break it down and give some extra tips along the way. It was fun for me and I hope you enjoy this and maybe take away a tip or two. Give it a like if you enjoyed it and want to see more! Let me know what you’d like me to talk about and cover next and what you would like to work on. Give me a subscribe if you are new here and dig the content. Cheers!!!

Your "snail pace" is my "Oh my god I'm going so fast" pace.

Flat corners for sure! Also, steep chunky chutes and catch berms!! Thanks for the tutorial 💪

I like the fact that you're filmed this video under rainy conditions. Pushing yourself in cornering when it's slippery is defenitly a good practice!

Everything make sense but I'll continue to square my corners because I like the sound of the tire squearting sealant 😂👌. Nice video as always :)

Nice. Appreciated. Off camber wet roots that can’t be avoided with line fix would go down well!!!

Thanks for the great video! Flat corners would be another good one. Very well explained and can't wait to get out and try it.

I was a sponsored BMX racer in my Jr High years and with berms/turns I was always taught to "enter high/exit low", which from a geometry point of view makes total sense. The last time I entered a berm low at a bike park I hit that loose gravel at the bottom, slid out, and chewed up the whole upper left side of my body. I didnt head my own knowledge. lol 🤦🏻‍♂

Great tutorial Lewis as always, I would love your input and thought process on coming from steeps into catch berms if that makes sense! Always seem to end up awkwardly squaring them off and losing speed and composure! Cheers dude

Really well presented. I think you are highlighting the difference between the average rider and those riders that ride really well. I think when you are not as skilled (speaking from experience) you tend to be concentrating on just riding rather than looking ahead and setting up. Mad that you don't touch the brakes but you can see that in the speed you rail them 😏

Appreciate the video Lewis. A little generic for me, but the concept came through- enter wide, keep your speed for the bike lay over/supported berm (no brakes!), and keep your head up with eyes on the exit! I think the hardest part is trusting your strength and speed as you hit the lay over. I usually enter too slow and fall over or too fast and can't keep the front end on line.

Jealous of your rain over here in California man.

Nice to hear some thought process on cornering, always have trouble trusting the berm and fully leaning in.

Defo need work on my setups for corners, so this really helped! Body position is also a thing I need to work on, however it's difficult with a bike that's too small for me as I'm finding there is always to much weight over the front tyre. Looking at getting a bigger bike which will hopefully help with this!

Tbh I personally could do with some tips on everything, especially more cornering and jumping.

Thanks Lewis!
