This video gives you a quick peek into how well the Furuno DRS25ANXT 200 Watt Solid State Open Array, with a 4-foot antenna, performs against Systems A's 12kW magnetron Open Array with a 4-foot antenna.

Good Morning All, I have a Nordhavn with a 15 inch TZT2, and a 12 inch TZT2 on the fly, with a DRS4DNXT Radar. I have zero interest in fishing, but do spend summers in Maine so use Radar in the fog a lot, and I do a lot of mid to long distance cruising offshore at night. I am thinking of switching to the DRS25A Radar, and TZT3, along with a sat compass. What improvements will I see? I am also thinking of adding a FLIR 364C, but am unclear as to wether the color will work on the Furuno system. I know I would have to add an Axiom into the mix if I wanted augmented reality.
Best,
