Показать описание
Montserrat is a small Caribbean island that is naturally beautiful and peaceful. It is located close to Antigua & Barbuda and Saint Kitts & Nevis.

Here is a tourism website:

Here is the ferry service:

You can typically get a flight from Antigua for about US$150 one way or take the ferry for about US$100.

The island has a rich musical history with a lot of top artists that would spend time on island and record music at the music studio on island. Some of these musicians include; Mick Jagger, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Arrow, Durand Durand, Boy George and more.

If you are someone looking for a quiet place that is not crowded the country is a great place to be. However, personal income tax is high on the island. The busiest time of year is around March for the St.Patrick's celebrations where there is a parade, calypso competition, festivities and many Nationals return to the country. The local population is just below 5,000 people with many people who moved to the United Kingdom, United States and Canada following the volcano eruptions.

At JH Marlin we assist with citizenship by investment and residency by investment applications. Citizenship by investment is the process of acquiring a second passport through a government that has a citizenship by investment program. There are a limited number of countries that offer citizenship by investment.

Antigua & Barbuda citizenship by investment
Dominica citizenship by investment
Grenada citizenship by investment
Saint Lucia citizenship by investment
Saint Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by investment
Malta citizenship by investment

I think I’ve been to the house where you’ve made your video.
There’s a patio, pool, and a view of Redonda in the distance.

I'm currently reading a book that was written by Carol Elrod called "Goat water is not what you think". She and her husband Ed lived on the east side of Montserrat in Spanish Point for 4 years that is now in the exclusion zone. They had to move back to the states once the volcano erupted. They are from my city Indianapolis, Indiana.
I've wanted to visit the island but haven't had the opportunity. Maybe someday.

Is there much employment?? Or even opportunity to set up a homestead like growing veg and keeping a few livestock like chickens and a goat or 2??? Im Irish, and have family links to it, and we are getting so sick of the rain in Ireland and price of living, we just want to live a frugal life in a peaceful place

I live here for your info you cannot get citizenship by investment you have to live here permanently for 7 years before you can apply for permanent residency then it takes another year before it may be granted. You have to go through government approval and then the British governor has the final say.
