Dominic West & Wendell Pierce are interviewed for the 20th anniversary of The Wire. Created by David Simon, the five seasons of The Wire starred Dominic West, John Doman, Wendell Pierce, Frankie R. Faison, Wood Harris, Domenick Lombardozzi and many more. To celebrate the 20th anniversary Stefan Pape sat down with the cast to talk about the show's legacy.

Plot: In the city of Baltimore, Detective James McNulty and his team investigate crimes and try their best to solve the bridge that exists between the drug kingpins and the law enforcement agencies.

The Wire celebrates its 20th anniversary in June. The Wire: The Complete Series is available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.

The re-watch value of The Wire is amazing. In each season the story arc has so much going on- and eventually the inter-season arcs reward you for paying attention. Unless you give each episode 100% attention, you will not experience the rewards of immersion. I caught so much that I had missed watching The Wire a 2nd time. Hell, I considered The Wire the GOAT show after giving it 90% of my attention the first go-around.

Season 4 was the most emotional and most socially important but season 1-3 was pure gold for entertainment.

The stream was lagging throughout and it made them sound like robots in places, but overall, it was a good conversation. Dominic's British accent never fails to be jarring because I am not used to it, but I love it.
