I am making banana bread at home while this song is playing in the background 😁 I just got home from vacation yesterday, and I have no work or assignments due today. The beginning portion of this song made me tear up. My girlfriend, Lise took her life on November 3rd this year. She was from Fontainebleau and we loved each other. I don’t know what tormented her but when we would spend time, it was magical and we would watch this movie because it was the only Disney/Pixar movie she liked. Tu me manques de tout mon coeur douloureux ma belle Lise😔💕

I feel like I'm an avid traveler now because I watch movies and TV to escape from the stress of reality and life and I feel like the characters get how I'm feeling sometimes. I've also loved Ratatouille for a while and that movie still holds a special place in my heart.

Anyone else wish they could live in a world that this soundtrack accompanies? Yes, I know I could simply go to Paris (and wouldn't that be something?), but I mean specifically _Pixar_ Paris, with this glorious, romantic, hopeful music swelling all around you.

I dunno, man. Ratatouille has become my favorite movie since quarantine last year and now I'm obsessed- _Send help-_

EDIT: Just wanted to come back here real quick to say that I _might_ be going to Paris next summer!! Key word is "might, " of course, but my family and I are already planning my potential trip! I feel nervous about the prospect of visiting a new country with an entirely different language and culture all on my own (as well as finding time in-between my classes, and also possibly finding a job over there), but my fears aside, I also feel so happy that my dream of visiting France might actually be possible!! :D

EDIT No. 2: Alrighty, so the Paris trip didn't work out this year. But... someday. Someday, I'll get to France, even if it's the last thing I do. :)
