Approach a rental company such as enterprise, they sell there ex-hire cars at steep discounts. These traditionally end up at auction, but you would be able to get a regular supply if you worked directly with a district manager.

About the gap thing it’s normal, I had it on my brand new zero mileage and went back to dealership and he showed me all the models that have the gap on the front pump.

My tip for buying car parts. Buy them on eBay or Amazon from trusted sellers. The parts are way cheaper and on eBay case, you can buy used OEM parts from trusted sellers.

Can you go more in depth with what this company actually does / needs to stay in business and run? When you say a customer pays you to find a vehicle and set it up what does that actually mean? Are they renting long-term from you? What do the contracts look like?

Would it not make more sense to have one brand/type of car as to reduce maintenence costs? i.e. instead of multiple types of crossovers, maybe centralise with one particular model?
