In the US, a community organizer is code for socialist or Saul Alinski adherent. Not popular in a market economy.

I’m confused. I mean understand her point that rape, and molestation are bad things, of course they are. I was molested from 8-10 years i get it. The horror and trauma i have to deal with. Supposably our brains go into fighter-flight mode and develop memory loss problems because of that situation that happened to me so young. How can she be okay with murder? What did that baby ever do to die? If i was ever older ended up being rapped. I would have the baby and give it up for adoption. I don’t think i could take the pain of looking at child grow up to look like rapist. But how can she be a baptist or baptist roots and be okay with murder? No different than catholics drinking on fridays, church sunday, intentionally have plans to party every friday….day again. It hurts

Syncretism is not a way to find God, or the Truth. Who is Jesus? If He spoke the truth, He is the only Way, the Messiah of Israel, the Savior of the world, God in human form.
Then all religious traditions which do not recognize Him as such are worthless.
Many cannot tolerate such clarity.

These are extraordinary claims, but they cannot be ignored or made palatable for the sake of political correctness. Every person must decide for or against; unlike in politics, there is no middle path.

His claims can be proven or disproven by one major criterion. We have enough historical evidence to make an accurate assessment.
Even secular historians (like my late father) have agreed that Jesus was executed by crucifixion under the Roman imperial governor, Pontius Pilate, in Jerusalem.
They know this chiefly because of the Biblical record.
The same accounts maintain that He rose from the dead, and describe
in great detail how this came to light.

As the Messianic Jewish teacher, Dr. Michael Brown, has said,
if Jesus rose from the dead, everyone should believe in Him, which means accepting His Divine identity and authority.
If Jesus did not rise, no one should believe in Him.

Dr. Brown's view reflects exactly what the apostle Paul said in 1st Corinthians chapter 15, namely that if the dead are not raised (if the skeptics are right), Christians are of all people nost to be pitied. But Paul speaks with the authority of a first-hand witness, a devout Jew and former persecutor of the Church who was converted because of this experience.

Modern skeptics typically deny the Resurrection on the basis of 'a priori' philosophical assumptions which prove absolutely nothing about the historical record.
Muslims oppoe both the Crucifixion on religious grounds, assuming that God could not have permitted either event to happen, which amounts to vain speculation combined with histircal a reliable way to discover eternal truth.

Most other religions give jesus no consideration whatsoever, but are combinations of myth, ritual, superstition, and in some cases philosophical speculation.

Therefore Christianity and hinduism have nothing in common, and Mr. Gandhi, a highly educated man, knew it.
That is why he criticized Christians for their human weakness without subjecting himself or his traditions to rigorous self-examination.
Perhaps he forgot Jesus' statement that He had not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

As for his view that muslims and hindus ought to be able to get along, history has proven Gandhi extremely naive.

Remember, people:
Hinduism birthed a caste system based originally on race. No African-American Christian should think well of that.

The last case of 'sati' occurred in 1987. 'Sati' is a hindu tradition in which bereaved women were required to commit suicide by throwing themselves on their husbands' funeral pyres.
Even the cruel British had tried to suppress this barbaric, benighted custom,
the very essence of misogyny.

Islam remains as always a rich source of motivation for terrorists across three continents (Europe, Asia, Africa).
Following the American invasion of Iraq, islamist forces were unleashed which reduced the size of Iraq's ancient Christian community by a few hundred thousand.

In Nigeria, the muslim terrorist group called Boko Haram has for years kidnapped Black African girls from Christian communities and forced them into sexual slavery.

Perhaps it s time that people took off their rose-colored lenses and mom-Christian religions for what they truly of human misery.
Romanticism in religion serves no good purpose.
