ZACH EDEY GOT SMART! 🤯😍 #nba #shorts

In this short video, we highlight Zach Edey's incredible performance against the Bulls and Pacers in the span of three days. In the Bulls game, after passing on so many post-up opportunities, Edey got a lesson from Veteran Marcus Smart on being versatile on his post-up, specifically trying to go right with a spin move in the post.
Edey moments after the lesson got an opportunity to put to use the knowledge given but still wanted to leave from a post-up. Smart acknowledged the move but still stressed on being versatile with the post-up move.
To the surprise of fans, two days after the Bulls game, Edey got another chance to put his new knowledge to the test as he caught the ball in a post-up position and this time backed down his defender, spined to the right, and threw down a double-handed dunk on Jackson.
The moments went viral as Smart's lessons had paid off in real games and helped expand Edey's bag, as we say in the NBA.

For anyone who thinks it’s insane to take post advice from a guard, Marcus Smart is one of the best post defending guards in the league right next to Jrue Holiday. He knows what he’s talking about.

That's why Marcus deserves a ring. I know he schooled Boston on a lot of intangible things about defense. That selflessness is what all vets should do with rookies. Build him up 💯

"Teach him to fish and you'll feed him for a lifetime" Have to appreciate when Vets are willing to help the rooks.

I love how music and a little bit of editing can make a video have 10x as much aura than the original did

Ik it's not likely but I really hope good post play makes a comeback to the game. Although I'm only 30, I love watching Hakeem Olajuwon games n highlights 🙏🏿

This is generally why teams need vets on the roster.

Imagine thinking Zach Edey just learned how to do a drop step in the NBA… that’s something they teach high schoolers.
