Surfing In Australia's Outback #shorts

preview_player
Показать описание
This is an artificial wave in a lake called Surf Lakes in Australia. The 1400 ton metal arch in the middle is the core of the entire surf pool. Its power comes from a nearby air jet system that provides thrust through compressed air, generating a wave every 6 seconds. Some might ask, why build an artificial surf pool in Australia when the country is already surrounded by oceans? While Australia is naturally a surfing paradise, the outback is not. By building this project in inland regions, more people can enjoy surfing without needing to go to the beach.

Don’t any of these editors do research first. It is not for ‘inland people’ because they can’t get to the beach. Surf lakes is 20mins from the beach. It is designed for consistent waves so that the surfers can improve their skills without having to wait for the perfect wave.

Do y'all really think the outback is this green? This exists 20 minutes from the beach in Yeppoon, Queensland. It's not for the 12 people who live in the outback, it's for practicing surfing on perfect reliable waves.

That is horrifying… It even sounds horrifying

I live 15 mins away from this, and it isn't because it's inland, it's right near Yeppoon Beach. Maybe get your research right.

You ever heard of the great white shark. That’s probably the number one reason why most surfers don’t surf out in Australia and the main waters.

This feels like a boss battle for some reason.

That is terrifying as hell, though. Imagine getting stuck under the machinery. Or somehow ending up there, . Idk.

Its not in the outback, this is literally 15 minutes from the nearest beach.

This is located in Mulara, just west from the town of Yeppoon, Queensland
