Episode 2 was one of the best episodes in the entire series. Granted I'm biased for Burzek but I loved how honest this episode was. Not overly sugary just Kim finally admitting she was wrong and allowing herself to lean into Adam for security. I feel this was the biggest turning point in their relationship, where they finally make it work.

Tonights episode is my last! I refuse to watch the episode where Jay leaves! I'm done with One Chicago! Lost interest in med a while back, fire hasn't been the same since Casey left, and now with Jay leaving I don't have it in me to continue watching the shows where ALL my favorites have left! I swear if med reaches a tenth season, watch Will leave at some point!

"Currently the writers are working on episodes eight and nine and planning his exit. While they’re not releasing what episode it will take place,  Variety previously confirmed that it will take place in the fall.

“I’ve been trying to look at it as really giving him something incredibly powerful and impactful. I think he’s really brilliant in this season, what he’s been in, and so it’s nice to see him have that, ” she said. “We tried to stay really true to his character and to what he stands for and what he means for the show and for the unit.”

Sigan also did not reveal whether the door is open for a possible return, not wanting to give away any storyline. That said, she did open up a bit about how it will affect Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), who married Halstead in Season 8."

I was sad to see Jesse Lee Soffer leave the show I loved his character since the beginning, Jay has been my all time favorite character on Chicago PD 💖💖💖💖 thank you for 10 wonderful years as Jay Halstead
