Marchand whiffing the shootout attempt will never get old. Instant classic

Imagine the fear the ref had when he sees a young Darryl sutter coming off the bench running at him

As a Leafs fan, I really appreciate you putting the Boston loss to Chicago directly after Toronto's game 7 meltdown. It helps.

Man, I could watch Brad Marchand whiff picking up the puck on that penalty shot forever and never get tired of it.

Great find on the Jets/Blackhawks game where Nelson Emerson through the puck in the net. I forgot all about that, but it definitely ranks up as one of the worst calls of all time.

6:30 they actually called that a goal? Why isn’t this talked about more like on tsns countdown of controversial calls? I don’t remember EVER seeing this play before

It’s honestly so impressive that you’re able to find so many examples from such a relatively obscure request. Love the content!

Day 8 of me asking: worst goals let in by each team

As a Penguins fan I think you almost have to have Kunitz's perfectly placed fluttering GWG Game 7 in 2OT past Craig Anderson who had played out of his mind all series. Of course I liked the result, but Anderson deserved better.

Boston: they blew a lead in the 3rd! Ha! Imagine that!
Boston: Wanna see us do that?

Y’all might find this hard to believe but my grandfather was Yvon Lambert number 11 on the habs who scored the goal in OT against Boston to bring them to the Stanley cup playoffs. The clip form 11:00 -12:30 minutes

Here’s a couple pretty brutal ones from the 2022-2023 regular season so far:
- Lightning lose to Sabres in OT by allowing a 4 on 3 shorthanded goal by a defenseman who had zero goals on the season up until then (well over halfway through the season)
- Sharks lose in OT after scoring an empty net goal against the Canes
- Preds @ Wild February 19, 2023 — Preds come back from 3-1 deficit and tie it in the last minute with their goalie pulled. In the 20 or 30 remaining seconds before OT they allow another goal and lose in regulation. Hurts even more because Wild were one of the teams the Preds were in direct competition with in the playoff race.
- Devils have 3 goals disallowed and lose 2-1. This also ended their 13-game win streak, which tied their franchise record (if they won this game they would’ve surpassed it).
- Flames get 4 times as many shots as the Bruins and lose

I remember watching the sharks beat the blues with that hand pass, just waiting for it to get called off, then my jaw dropped in disbelieve as everyone just left the ice except the angry blues.

Sharks fan here, but that was b.s. for sure, fortunately for the blues, they go on to win that series.

The 1993-94 Chicago Blackhawks saw brothers Brent and Rich Sutter take the ice, coached by brother Darryl Sutter, (Gary Suter was also on that team) shown @6:38

We all knew 1:14 was coming, and as a Bruins fan, I still look back on this with a smile :)
