So many people critiquing this but I doubt most of them are actually in D2D. It’s not a perfect pitch but he literally got a girl who has had her door knocked by roofers 20 times agree to have them do an inspection and come back. He made it seem like it was happening and he was just informing her. Pretty good.

He's overselling. Talking way too much, which makes it obvious that he's trying to sell them and the customers see right through it.

I have way more luck with the 1 sec flyer. Me and my friend Benny tested it. He knocked on doors in a neighborhood in the morning I taped flyers to mail boxes in the afternoon. People he talked to for 20 minutes called me asking what brands we carry and if any of them had a veteran discount. No one wants their day interrupted by some fast talking salesman unless their l selling ice cream or Kirby Vacuums. A flyer they look at for 1 second before deciding to read further or toss is all you need.

Not that great, I get straight to the point within a about 10 seconds. People like the direct approach be honest and straightforward. Have fun!! Oh less people at the door! Especially moving around

Door would’ve shut right as soon as you name drop fake names . Also too much nonsense blabbering, not enough rapport. Mislead the homeowner; she has no idea it’s about solar didn’t even mention it once. I’m not a sales expert but as a homeowner I’d respect the hell out of a guy more if he just straight up got to the point and told me the numbers without any of the sly bullshit .

Anyways, this just an opinion from a nobody so don’t get offended

Just get to the point stop the sleight of hand shit. You're a roofer you aren't "different" from everyone else and as soon as she sees that and realizes you are indeed trying to sell her something then the trust is gone and you lost the sale
