Gotta admit, I expected that the girl in his example will say that she loved John because John loves her..
When I first became a Christian, I didn't know God all that well and when people talked about their love for Him, I knew I wanted that. I prayed to God for Him to give me more love towards Him.. He so answered this prayer of a new believer <3 He revealed so many things about Him that I couldn't help but fall head over hills for my Lord. I love Him because He first loved me and yes, of course because of who He is <3
