Hey guys, Rob here with S&S Archery! Today we’re taking an in-depth look at the Swarovski TA-S Bino Adapter. In this video, I’ll cover all the key features, pros, and cons, and give you insights from my personal experience using it out in the field.

The TA-S adapter is specifically designed for Swarovski NL Pure binoculars, providing a highly secure and stable mount. It’s built with an ARCA-Swiss base for quick compatibility, but there are some quirks—like having to remove the dust cover, which exposes the center hinge to dust and debris. I'll walk you through all these aspects, including how it attaches and adjusts for inter-pupillary distance, and discuss the challenges and benefits of using it with high-end optics.

Topics Covered:

Detailed features and functionality of the TA-S Bino Adapter
Pros and cons, including the build quality and ARCA-Swiss base
Field experience and real-world usage tips
Compatibility with older NL Pure models and Swarovski’s retrofit offer
If you’re considering this adapter or want advice on other gear, feel free to reach out—call, text, or email, and we’re happy to help. Thanks for watching, and let’s dive into this adapter’s performance and whether it’s worth the $200 investment.

Chapters: 0:00 Introduction
1:00 TA-S Adapter Features
2:30 Pros and Cons
4:00 Field Experience
6:00 Final Thoughts

Thanks for the review, Rob. What are your recommendations for other options?

I have moved away from post and stud style systems. I much prefer barrel mounted options like RRS Cinch, Aziak, or the Tricer NL. The “self-leveling” feature is especially annoying in the field. I cant tell you how many times I’ve adjusted the focus or bumped the binos and have to shift them back into place. Unfortunately I’ve lost a post in the field as well.
