I grew up in the late 60's... Fast forward half a century...
I'm still waiting for flying cars, a moon base, domestic robots, skiing on Mars, expeditions to Titan, and a full featured permanent large habitable base orbiting the Earth.

Many failed promises and dreams. All we have that's "modern" today are computers and cell phones... that's about it... such a disappointment.

All my life looking towards the future, decades spent dreaming about things to come. I may have actually sacrificed enjoying life back then. I certainly missed living the moment, and when that moment flies by... it's gone for good.

So, you kids out there, remember to appreciate what you have, time flies by way too
fast.

I’m 17. I really like 80s cars. I remember my Nan telling me a story about an Austin Metro she had. She was teaching in Chichester at the time. When I’m older, I’d love to own something like an Escort Xr3i or a Peugeot 205 GTi. They just seem such fun cars.

Love the old cars the best. 1955 Bel Air, Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, 1966 Corvette Stingray, ‘48 Tucker Torpedo and any Duesenberg are my top favorite old cars. After the late 70s car design really went downhill in my opinion. It all had to be “more fuel-efficient” and “more aerodynamic”. I really can’t name a single good-looking car from the 80s or 90s other than maybe a couple more off-road vehicles like Jeeps and such. It’s gotten better into the 2010s though. Cars might finally be getting more character! 👌🏻

Late 30's and early 40's cars and especially the coupes of that era are definitely THE pinnacle of elegance and design in automotive history.

As a mid 90s kid, I've always wished of going back in time & visiting 1970s New York just to feel what it was like back then.

For me growing up based on the movies & culture of the 70s it's by far my favourite decade I wish I could experience.

70s for the cars, 80 & 90s for the music

I think it should be noted that the cars shown on the road will greatly vary depending on which time the film was shot during the decade. Since most people aren't going to buying the newest car models, everyone will most likely have cars from the last decade or even the one before it. Especially at the beginning. Like the cars driving around in 1961 vs 1969 will be very different, because in 1961 you'd only be cars from the 1950s or 1940s, while in 1969 you'll be seeing a lot more 1960s cars, but even, you'll still see many 1950s cars. So, 1920s cars in the 1930s, 1930s cars in the 1940s, 1940s cars in the 1950s etc.
