Polygel is honestly the best thing out there. It's more patient than acrylic, but just as strong and workable. It's honestly the best "training wheels" type of material to use if you want to eventually use acrylic. I did my nails using polygel (with a brush, not these extensions) and after a year I started nail school and worked with acrylic for the first time in my life. All I had to learn was the monomer to acrylic ratio and how to work on a time limit before the acrylic hardens. But the feeling of sculpting and shaping the acrylic was already there, thanks to the polygel practice. If you are thinking of starting a nail journey, start with polygel!
