one thing i'm surprised gilly didnt mention when trying to take a ball that's low, always try to keep your eyes on the ball. do your best not to shy away, keep watching the ball and where its going to bounce, and get low, the gloves and your body, get right down to it and it will end up in the gloves at the last moment most of the time.
