Syncing a Honda CBX1000 (6 Carburetors!) + Digi Sync Review

In this video I show how to synchronize carburetors using a 6 carb rack from a Honda CBX1000 and review the new Digi Sync digital synchronization tool. I really liked working with this tool and it will be something I use on a weekly basis in my shop. They have versions for 2, 4, and 6-cylinder bikes. I would suggest at least getting the 4-cylinder version so you have the option if you ever need it.

Great video. You might want to correct the missing boots on the throttle linkage where the cable-operated cam attaches to the #3 & 4 carbs. There are four small rubber boots that are readily available from CBX parts suppliers. You can install them without having to spilt the rack again, it will just be tedious to do.

Hello everyone!
I have a problem, a few days ago someone hit and run my bike, the bike was laying down on the side the combustion chamber has oil inside air filter is full of engine oil

What you guys recommend me to do to clean the combustion chamber??

You ever look into efi using the micro squirt?

When you sync your carbs you are not adjusting them to open at the exact same time. You are adjusting the fuel metering based on the engine vacuum for each cylinder, the throttle blades themselves will be at different positions relative to each other. You only need to sync when someone messes with the screws or you do a valve adjustment. Bench syncing is a complete waste of time.
