fun fact: the creature that follows you around the whole game is referenced in ULTRAKILL in a level that you can fish, if you go to a blood arena and go into a lake, you can fish out the creature and it is called “frog”

The scripted encounter at 1:21:00 i think would be better if the 'hit' comes at almost the same time as the iamge finished processing. Like imagine you received that image and right after the sub is being trashed by the creature, it would feels like the creature is going full throttle to impact our submarine

Tbh the introduction was the scariest part for me-- this idea that the very universe is dying and a significant amount of people disappeared for unknown reasons. So I felt a bit underwhelmed that a fish we'd prob find in our oceans now was the conclusion.. lol It felt like such a small beast in comparison to that monster of existential dread !

Regardless, beautiful atmosphere and one of a kind! Thoroughly enjoyed
