I just lost my father in October after unexpected complications from a heart surgery. I heard this song for the first time watching abominable on Thanksgiving with the rest of my family. The first Thanksgiving without him. May he rest in peace. To anyone else out there struggling with loss, know my thoughts are with you and you aren't alone.

beautiful story, about a father's/parents love - it's always there, even if it's not made explicit. It's the absence of our loved ones sometimes that reminds us of how truly lucky and blessed we are. I watch this with my kids and i'm glad they get to see some beautiful places i've been to. Everyone deserves a journey with their family. even if they may not be physically there.

When I see this, I often think what my life with her could have been like. What our children would have looked like. I wish I could go back in time and give myself the courage to hold on to her
