Monitor lizards are known for their large claws, powerful tails, and razor-sharp teeth. But what’s truly terrifying about these monsters, is that they will eat - or at least try to eat - absolutely anything that they come across.

Monitors are some of if not the most intelligent reptiles on our planet. I have worked with a few Crocodilian species and they can be trained. Well the species I have worded with anyway. American Crocodile, Alligator and Cuban Crocodiles. The Cuban Crocodile is one of the most fearless Crocodile species on Earth. It had been said that if they were as large as a Saltwater Crocodile or the Nile Crocodile, they would be feared or worshipped by almost every country in the onlds.
The Monitor lizard species are all good at killing their pray. Even though the Komodo Dragon might be considered to be the biggest lizard in the world but when it come to length of them from nose to their tips of there tails, the Komodo Dragon falls a little short. The Crocodile Monitor is by a few inches to a foot longer than that of the Komodo. Now this is the reason for the animal community to say they Crocodile Monitor isnt the longest Lizard in the world. If you are lucky enough to own one or seen one in person, then you know what I am about to say. A 12 foot Crocodile Monitor will most likely have a 4 foot long body and an 8 foot long tail. That tail can and will slice a person open. It's not as thick as the other Monitor out there but the size does matter. If they can whip a pretty item, it will likely drop blood, leading this animal straight to them. Between the Nile and the Crocodile Monitor, the Crocodile Monitor is considered to be the smartest Lizard on the planet. King Cobras in my opinion are the smartest.
