I have to tell this story. I was playing a show at a club in LA I was on the bill she was on the bill... others... this was at the height of her popularity. It was a small and intimate room. I was walking amongst the crowd... I was right behind her. When the mc announced that i was to be coming up next and I heard her say to her friends "Pete Hopkins! I love that guy" I didn't have any idea what to do so I didn't say anything I just made my way up to the stage to do my thing but the whole time I was playing I was thinking.... Natasha Bedingfield knows my name and loves me. :) I did get a chance to talk to her after a bit and she was one of the most kind and beautiful people I've ever met. This made me smile so hard to hear her slaying this song and seeing everyone singing it back to her. Bravo Natasha. Pure sunshine.
