I had a Grand Cherokee once but this might bring me back. I think the last generation's design is timeless but the new one actually looks pretty good on the outside and the interior is way beyond the old one. They needed buttons for the climate control. I hated going through the screen to turn on heated seats.

Just bought one. A ‘23, same trim, color & equipment minus sunroof and rear seat entertainment system. Really like the front end styling. Has a look of determination. Almost 57k, so the “budget friendly” term is relative. Very nice car…quiet, comfy, lots of gadgets. Had a 2011 for over a decade. Loved it. Hope to have this one just as long. Fuel economy seems better than previous Jeep, up from 18 to 21 in suburban driving. Six cylinder plenty for us. Smooth & efficient. Best two-row suv out there.

Topher, one thing to note is that the car you drove does not have lane centering it has lane keep assist which isn’t great as you noted. The Lane centering option is very good on these new Jeeps.

I don't understand why manufacturers are so stubborn about piano black trim. Even when consumers and journalists scream about it, they keep doing it. This has been a complaint for years, but they don't give up on it.

I know its still a jeep but this thing is almost on the level of a Range Rover in terms of design and off-road capability and in my opinion its definitely worth it for the price.

I've found the 3.6L to feel faster than it really is. Not that it is bad. My mother currently owns a 2018 Grand Cherokee with this engine, she only has 7k miles on it and the previous three vehicles were all Dodge products with that very engine. Once in a while, I would borrow one of these vehicles over the years or she would have me drive her to a doctor's appointment the next town over (4-hour round trip), she is getting older and does not like driving much. I have found that engine to be smooth for the power it has, especially with the 8-speed transmission. I have driven it with the 5-speed and 6-speed transmissions and the 8-speed makes a HUGE difference in the way power is used and fuel efficiency.

This is one of the best gadget loaded and high trimmed SUV but I never wondered that NVH was terribly!!! The road noising and little potholes in all the pov drive get inside the cabin. I saw your Grand Wagoneer pov video and that's HUGE difference between NVHs if its the same platform and I think that it uses the same manufacturing process!!!

The exterior of the previous model was a lot more aggressive looking and preferred. Not a fan of the front end at all. The interior is quite nice.

I'd like to wait for the 4xe plug in.
Not a fan of the button on the side to put the trunk down. Every other manufacturer has it on the back of the lid itself which is much better.
Also, I don't know how I like the screen for the passenger, the reflective glare was rather distracting even in this video. Forget about a sunny day when the sun is behind you or on the side reflecting off of that screen right in your face! Because you know it will more often than you'd want.

a co worker of mine has one of these in a light blue color. It is GORGEOUS! Love the new squared off styling. It has the V8 engine. The interior looks different than what is in this upload for some reason. VERY nice Jeep.
