“Queen takes on H3” This is why I’m 600. I can’t even see some of the pieces. 😂

“…also known as the five knights version of the English opening. And it’s with this move that we have a completely new game. Feel free to pause the video to ponder where the fifth knight came from. I’ll give you a few moments to see if you can spot it.”

6:55 oh yes the “invisible capture gambit” strikes again … good to someone played this after almost 100 games

At 6:01 Hikaru with black would play Rxa5 without thinking.

@7:10 (after Black played Ra6-e6) White could simply have played (instead of Re1) Qf5 leading to an exchange of Queens and an easy win for White!

at 6:13, why not put white queen on d2. Then if knight moves to d1, white king to e1, and queen takes white rook, the white queen can take knight, then it's even material, both queens still on the board.

Nice play by Nepo, but is Magnus ever gonna play Hans? I really want to see some games between them.

Get the impression that Magnus does not particularly like Hans.

About 5:55
What about Tc8? The rook on c1 is only defended by the queen, and the skewer should just win the rook?
What am I missing?
I guess it's the fact that also the knight on e3 is only defended by the rook, so actually I can't lose the guard of that knight.

8:27, rook B8 also looks like it wins here. But I guess a lot of moves win when you're up a rook haha
