Today, I will take a step further and list out my top 5 gold ETFs in India.

I’ve done my own research to prepare this list. These 5 ETFs are not recommendations. Rather they are what I believe to be, the best five gold ETFs in the market today.

What about Gold Mutual funds. That takes away the liquidity problem of ETFs. Of course at a slightly higher management cost ? No need for a Demat account. Example ... ICICI Gold saving fund ( underlying is ICICI Gold ETF).

Vijay, I bought GLD, SPDR gold trust. But this follow the spot price. And does not give profit like you mentioned for ETF. Please advise if this GLD is ok? Anyhow I bought them at 183, and now is only 161.
