Gulu court gives bail to MP Zaake

Gulu High Court has released Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake on bail after about two weeks in detention. Justice Steven Mubiru released the legislator on a non- cash bail of five million shillings while each of his sureties was bonded at 10 million shillings. The MP has been charged with treason following the violence that marred the Arua Municipality by-elections in August 2018.
