Dear Irrfan sir,
As you have rested in peace permanently after ruling the film industry for almost two decades. Here are few lines which I wanted to write.
It all started in 2010 when my elder brother used to speak dialogues of you from the movie haasil. At that time i was having no clue about the magic of your acting. And then came The film Paan singh tomar in 2012 and that was the first movie of you which I have seen in the theater. And I was so spellbound by your performance that i used to speak the dialogue of that movie in front of my friends and family for almost everyday. Even your dialogues was part of my normal conversation with friends. And it has happened several time with us that we have opened YouTube just to see your single scene of the movie and ended up watching the whole film. I cannot remember exactly that how many times I have watched paan singh tomar till now. As you were enjoying your stardom in Bollywood and Hollywood and at the same time I was also enjoying an actor inside me by reciting your dialogues from various films. As you are dead now, I think the actor in me will also die. But I will continue to cherish your acting in all your movies throughout my life, though with not the same feeling as I was cherishing till now. As this post is irrelevant now because you are not there and but after 10 or 20 years I will see this post again and show it to our next generation that what you meant as an actor to us.
Thank you Irrfan khan sir for all the moments you have given to us through your movies. We all will miss you and your movies.

Rana is my favorite character other than Piku. I watch this movie often and from now on it would be heartbreaking to see it, knowing that this gem of a person not here anymore. This was the movie that made me see Irrfan as an actor in a totally different light! I wasn't much aware of his work until Piku came out. This movie reintroduced me to Irrfan as an actor. The way he portrayed Rana with such ease..and he was so charming. I was totally shipping Piku and Rana! I ended up watching a lot of his movies after this and became a huge fan. My heart hurts as I write this two weeks after his passing and 5 days after Piku completed 5 years since its release. This movie will always be so special to me because it made me notice Irrfan properly and redefined good cinema in Bollywood! <3
