The TANK 300 is the ONLY vehicle on Highway Tires and its literally 1/2 the price of any other option. I'm not saying its the best, but that's bloody impressive.

Basically a propaganda piece for justifying the new Toyotas. No control tire might make sense for a normal car channel but this is meant to be for 4x4 enthusiast's. Are you suggesting your audience is dumb enough to tackle a wet mud hill on highway tires just because that's what the car came on? That Tank 300 would go anywhere the two winners would on the same tires, and $35-$50k gets you a lot of tires. You also just blamed the lack of drive for the Tanks failure and disregarded tires. I don't even like the Everest that much but for 15k less than the Prado and with much better street handling and engine you can't claim the Prado is the best all rounder. Stop justifying the insane prices the likes of Toyota Australia charge, especially when they are so much cheaper in Japan.

This is one of the worst 4x4 reviews I’ve seen in ages Disjointed, vehicles taking completely different lines and trying to compare.
To the guy that thinks the Grenadier is like being in a Defender - you obviously have never been in one.

Guys, common you can do it better, its too obvious the review purposely set the Tank 300 for failure, seeing all the other genuine reviews around, this road condition is a piece of cake for the Tank 300. Let me guess, I haven't watched the video yet but the Toyotas won right and the Tank came last on highway tyres. Great bias review guys. Put the vehicles on the same tyres and let's see who wins what. This is not what happens in the real world by owners when the Tank's are tested against the other brands.

I currently own a Tank 300 Ultra and purchased the Warrior approximately a week ago. I must express that your review is far from accurate. Having test-driven all of the vehicles in your fleet, I find the Y62 Warrior to be significantly superior to both the Prado and the 76 series. Additionally, the Tank 300 Ultra, when equipped with all-terrain tyres, performs admirably and, in many aspects, may even surpass the capabilities of the 76 Series. I am quite disappointed with the conclusions presented in your review.

I know you said at the beginning you were evaluating their capability in stock form. But bear in mind that the Tank had road tyres, all others had AT tyres. As a budget-minded enthusiast who does not have deep pockets to afford the others, this is my pick. Dash Off-road and Savage tech have shown what it is capable of when some modifications are made. I really enjoyed this test of all the big names, nicely done.

Tank is half the price of the rest and did everything except the slippery hill climb that the others did, even though they also had problems. Tank for the win
