5. prosince 2023 Česká společnost ornitologická vyhlásila ptákem roku 2024 rehka domácího, který v posledních letech stále častěji přezimuje v našich podmínkách. Takže i na běžném ptačím druhu můžeme sledovat jak změna klimatu ovlivňuje chování jednotlivých populací. Proto během zimy bude probíhat doprovodná akce Rehci v zimě - (od začátku prosince 2023 do konce února 2024), kdy se budou sledovat přezimující rehkové domácí u nás.

The bird of the year 2024 in the Czech Republic
On December 5, 2023, the Czech Ornithological Society declared the bird of the year 2024 to be the house egret, which has been wintering more and more often in our conditions in recent years. So even on common bird species, we can observe how climate change affects the behavior of individual populations. Therefore, during the winter, the accompanying event Black redstart in winter - (from the beginning of December 2023 to the end of February 2024) will take place, when we will observe the wintering birds natives in our country.
