Silverado RCSB 4.3 v6 5 Speed 0 to 100 With 4.10 Gears

4/6 drop, 4.10 gears, Exhaust, stickers(more power) lol Its hard to shift the nv3500 manual transmission fast from 2nd to 3rd but every now and then I can chirp 3rd gear. Ha! Ran her til the governor kicks in.

Note: the cat is plugging up on the drivers bank so exhaust flow is hindered decreasing performance and the speedometer is about 15% off

Nice! I just picked up a 2007 with a 4.3 and 5 speed. And only 55k miles. I am loving it already. it is a wt model.

Reminds me of my 5 speed pt cruiser 1st is short as hell. Shift to 2nd, grinds, pops in and you get a little chirp

Dam that 4.3 is faster then my 5.7 tbi stick shift Silverado lol what upgrades can I do on my truck ? I'm thinking of a bigger Cam ? Any one please some ideas

I have a 5 speed 4.3 2005 and dang this truck sounds nice! I want to do some mods on the 4.3 lol :)

I also have a 4.3 with a 5 speed in a Silverado. Just swapped for a junkyard motor with only 70k and have an upgraded clutch and the 3.73 14 bolt axle from the 454 SS. I upgraded the ignition have a stage 2 chip to install and want to remove the cat.

Also my dad's S10 had big wheels on it when he got it but the guy he bought it from put the stock ones back on plus he had a towing package put on it. He has had it since about 2004 or 2005

Nice build thinking of getting a v6 manual 4x4 but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. She’s in minty condition. I want to put a 5.3 or 6.0 in it if I do get it

have you considered doing a - how to customize a GMC - Chevy Pickup with 4.3L. It looks like you have figured out a lot of optoins to upgrade a truck to an SS model.

factory dash - where did you get the instrument cluster? what all did you do to make it faster? I put headers and free flow exhausts, but have not the computer chip or anything else. What gas mileage do you get?

quesition, is 4.10 a lower gear ratio in the rear end than the factory gear ratio? I just had my rear end bearings replaced, is a 4.10 a part I could change out, or a new rear end? the ss dash cluster looks excellent, but it is expensive as is that Escalade dash trim bezel. But, looks great, it is on the list of things to add to my truck. Very nice modifications you have done, and it still gets 20 MPG.
