How our elevator bed works | Van conversion DIY elevator bed

We've been getting a lot of questions about our bed lately, so we put together a short video explaining how it works, what components we used to build it and show you what we need to do before and after we takt it up or down.

We are really happy with this solution because it means that we don't have to make our bed every day, and can have both a full size bed and, a lot of seating and large countertops.

Adding some felt to the beds base where it contacts the benchtops removes the need of the blankets used.

Hi mate, your winch system is my favorite rising bed system I've seen in a van but I'm wondering how did you manage to get the winch to pull two wires at once? I'm going to use this idea for my van I've just started. Thanks :)
