Today's economic ddata for housing prices and consumer confidence were quite nice for the current situation of the market. Economy cooling off and that's great for Fed. I was bullish the entire day and had nice profits

Trying to understand all of this:)

Were we not in a "bad news is good news" environement ? Isn't the market waiting for earnings to come down in order to signal the beginning of a drop in inflation and thus a potential future FED pivot ?

The only thing I can think about is Alphabet & Microsoft services being less impacted by inflation than others companies might be ? Leading to a less impactful earning report on the overall market ?
