You would think being dead has at least one thing going for it – that you need not deal with the daily struggles of life and love anymore. Alas! As Michael (Andy Karl, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) finds out, there is no sweet release even in death. As he is lifted from the scene of his car crash and finds himself in a very bright room with a very strange lady (Christina Ricci, The Addams Family, The Opposite of Sex), he learns that for his soul to reach the next plane, he needs to find a mate. If you think dating in life was hard, in death it’s harder. Is it too late for Michael to figure out the complex rules, the dos and don’ts, and what’s in store for his soul?
