I subbed to Korone because she was the one that made me fall down the rabbit hole. My friend had been sending me hololive clips for a couple months — mostly holoEN clips — but he had never explained what hololive was or who these people were (that's a bad habit of his), so I wasn't interested. But I occasionally took a look, and one day I watched the one where Okayu repeatedly makes Korone miss her turn in a game by just making small talk with her, and Korone is completely incapable of not getting sucked in every single time. That one stuck with me. I kept thinking, "Surely no one can really be that airheaded?" And I think that curiosity about Korone's, uh, _different brain_ made me a bit more interested in her. By the time I watched it, my friend had already sent me more clips of her (or rather, Okayu telling stories about her), so I watched those too. "Huh, so she really is just kind of an oddball…" And then I started watching every clip he sent of her. And the rest is history. She's special. She was the one who broke through and made me interested in hololive. She is so so so damn cute and funny and weird. I love her.

I subbed to Korone (and Okayu) because despite not understanding more than 6 Japanese words (I have to rely on translated highlights channels like JShay), Korone's adorable (despite being insane) and Okayu is so chill (and more of a troll than the troll face itself and Rick Roll combined)
