Compare and Order Sets-Pre K Style!

This activity is the Grab Bag lesson from Kathy Richardson’s Developing Number Concepts series! Ellie is 2 here and it is her very first time doing this. This can be done with unifix cubes, inch tiles, or any other one to one manip! This activity is appropriate for all primary grades. As students master larger numbers you can switch the manipulatives for cards with visuals of numbers. I even do this with 4 digit number models and fractions and decimal models using cards in the bag or in a deck rather than concrete manips. ;)
