Unboxing - Surprise Streptocarpus Haul from Rachel - Gardening at Douentza - September 2017

I received a package this week from Rachel of Gardening at Douentza. She sent me 1 succulent and 4 lovely streptocarpus cuttings from her personal collection, each more beautiful than the last. In order of appearance: echeveria "compton carousel", strep. ds hawaiian party, strep. cynamon, strep. pink leyla, and strep. crystal ice. I'm very grateful for Rachel's generosity with this most thoughtful gift. Thanks again, Rachel!!

Thanks for answering. I'm trying Vandas for the firt time and am a bit worried about sufficient light in winter here in Berlin. I am planning to get a 450 watt LED to use before sunrise and after sunset tp provide additional light. Will see. Also, Barcelone is a beautiful city. I was there many years ago performing opera (filmed by Spanish national TV). I had 10 performances in 14 days so wasn'''t able to see much but I managed to buy 2 Siamese cates on the Ramplas which I then smuggled into Germany. One of my fondest memories! Nice John, those are going to be beautiful...I wonder if you can use hydroponics on streptocarpus?? If I ever find the tiny size hydroton, I'm experimenting :D it shouldn't be hard to find here in CO lol
