Thanks for the volleyball court tip. Went to the one sand court that we have in town. Didn't find much in the court but found around 100 coins just off the concrete pathways around the ball fields, tot lots, b-ball and volleyball courts👍

Nice hunt, unfortunately the volleyball courts here in St Augustine are off limits to detecting. They haven't been hunted in years. Not legally anyway. The oppressive city made it a free trip to jail. In fact anywhere in the city limits is illegal to detect. We need to start you a fund to upgrade that coil to the Raider coil. I purchased the NEL Superfly coil for the Apex. It is an impressive improvement over the Raider but not compatible with the beach.

Nice hunt. Apex came through for you in the sand. I use an Apex in our Ohio soil and it works fine for my needs. It does a lot pretty well, but could be better, once the firmware has time to mature. Until then, man, Keep Digging!
