9TH GRADE CURRIULUM PICKS | Independent Subjects | How Are Things Going So Far? | 2024-2025

Today I'm sharing my final curriculum picks for my 9th grader. We have a few special circumstances with this child and her curriculum. First of all, she is attending a charter school that provides her with 2 days of instruction and 4 of her classes. In this video I will share the Math, Language Arts, Science, and Electives that we will be covering at home. Secondly, this child does have some learning challenges the cause us to adapt a good deal. So, you will see all of that in this video. At this point, we are about 5 weeks into school, so I can also share a bit about how things are going so far!

I have thought about the Guest Hollow grammar before and now you really have me thinking of using it as a review.
We loved Guest Hollows World Geography! my older high schooler and I used it to delve into S.E. Asian countries.
The photography class sounds interesting too.

I have no issues with older kids doing elementary grammar as it’s just review in the high school years!!! I love to link vocabulary into science and history and books!!! Astronomy sounds awesome!!! I cross out stuff on the gehst hollow guides but on a copy then give them to my kids so they know what we are doing!!! Photography sounds awesome!!!
