Visiting Hyacinth Macaw Aviary Inc

I recently had the honor of visiting Hyacinth Macaw Aviary Inc, owned by Joe Muscanera. I loved listening to stories about his impact on their conservation, the realities and politics of aviculture.

What beautiful birds. My dream is to own a Hyacinth. No idea how I will afford one or the cage required to house on of these blue cuties. But hopefully one day. In the mean time I have a flock of three cockatiels who are my kiddos.
