It's funny seeing this trailer pop up as I was literally just thinking the other day about the Virtua Tennis games and how it feels like it's been years since a good arcade tennis game last came out!

They gave a dev studio that isnt as established with sports games a new project in the mainstream. These are the guys that made Mafia!! I wouldnt expect it to be perfect. At least they've began showing love to these tennis players.

I actually love that this has the same basic shot mechanics as NES Tennis. I'm serious, that ancient tennis game got it right from the get go and made me lose many late hours trying to master the shots.

I know it's a trivial thing but it would be cool if they got grunts from the actual players. As a tennis fan it's a little immersion-breaking. Like EVERY tennis fan knows 'pova's grunt lol :) Or other little things like Serena doing her wave and twirl after she wins. Looks like a good game but little stuff like that make a big difference.
