What Is Meteorology?

It is the study of atmospheric phenomenon. Meteorology makes it possible to understand how these natural events are formed and how they evolve in time and space. This study makes it possible to establish weather forecasts. This is why it is difficult to predict with certainty the weather over 10 days. The weather forecast is based on numerical simulations, mathematical and physical calculations. But these equations are based on approximations.... Meteorology is a particularly useful discipline in fields such as agriculture, transport and energy production. It is also taken into account in the study of air quality and climate change, for example. Used since Antiquity, it was really from the second half of the 20th century that meteorology developed with the emergence of IT.
